A chunky French Mid Century stoneware table lamp. This 1960's ceramic tablet lamp is hand built with a tactile textured surface and painted decoration in warm and earthy, muted tones. The solid rectangular form has been achieved by coiling, slabbing and shaping the clay, which has then been glazed and painted with irregular but geometric patterns and motifs in the manner of Jean Derval and Roger Capron.
